A sucessful Sail Training Week concluded on Friday with a flotilla of 26 boats crossing the Loch from the Sailing Club to Attadale. See Alex Ingrams photographs on the News page!

Ben and Scott would like to thank Coaching Highland for sponsoring them £50 each, in their training towards becoming Assistant Instructors.

Lochcarron Sailing Club would like to thank the Youth Bank for the grant of £277 towards a waterproof camera, memory card and battery. Unfortunately it had not arrived in time for the training week but it will be used extensively during our Wednesday Night sailing sessions.

We would like to purchase a projector to use with the camera, and are currently looking for financial assistance with this.

Year on year Caley Marina have provided us with a third rescue boat, without which we would not be able to run as many classes as we currently do. We are very grateful for their continuing support. We have been sucessful in our grant application to Ross and Cromarty Area Sports Association for financial assistance. We are very grateful for this as without it we possibly could not run theses courses.

Everyone who helped - The Committee, especially Terry, Mitch (and his "able assistant" Teressa), those people in the club who loaned us boats, Lochbroom Sailing Club for the loan of three Pico's, the Parents who ran the kitchen and helped to haul the boats up the beach THANK YOU!

And Finally... the Coaches relaxed over a welcome meal on Friday night, Ben unfortunately had to go to work, Duncan was unable to join us as he was cramming for his Driving Theory the next day (good luck Duncan we hope the Training Week didnt scupper your test prep!) and Robbie joined us in the role of waiter.
