(Gunn Trophy competition in Lochcarron 2007. Let's hope for sunshine this year!)

Youth Sailors are warmly invited to compete for their clubs at this annual event which will be held at Lochcarron Sailing Club on Saturday 12th September.

There is no charge for this event -- and the honour of wresting the covetted Gunn Trophy from the Lochcarron Sailors is there for the taking.

Teams of three single handed sailors are invited. The class this year has been expanded to allow for both Toppers and Picos. (Portsmouth yardstick handicap system will be applied to results.) All competitors must still be of school age -- under 18 years.

Schedule:

Briefing at 11.00a.m.

First Race at 12 noon. There will be a short lunch break, followed by more racing in the afternoon. Prize giving and barbeque at 4.00p.m. 

This year we are hoping for competitors from Ullapool, as well as Skye and Plockton Sailing Clubs. We look forward to seeing you all here!
