To anyone interested in sailing,
You may well have heard that RYA Scotland has a project called ‘Sailing in the City’, which primarily helps organisations to deliver sail training in parts of Scotland that wouldn’t normally experience sailing, and looks to create better links between local authorities and sailing organisations. A major part of this work is to help Instructors who are not directly involved with the project to understand and use the teaching methods that SITC uses, to help expand their own teaching tool kit, and to develop the training being run at their club or centre. To this end we have arranged a number of evenings across Scotland, which start at 1830 and finish at 2100hrs. The venues are:

Tuesday 23rd September – Port Edgar, South Queensferry
Tuesday 30th September – St Andrews SC, St Andrews
Tuesday 7th October – Glasgow Green Football Centre, Glasgow
Tuesday 28th October – Chanonry SC, Fortrose

All Instructors are welcome, as are those who are not yet qualified, but would like to learn more about this teaching method are also welcome to attend. Please call 0131 317 7388, or email: admin@ryascotland.org.uk to indicate your preferred event, and please ensure that you have included the following:
Your name, and others names if you are booking on their behalf
The club or centre that you are part of
A contact number (just in case we need to contact you about this booking or the event you plan to attend)

These evenings are free of charge, and light refreshments will be provided (tea, coffee & biscuits) – it might be an idea to grab something to eat before you attend.

We look forward to hearing from you soon on this, and best wishes,
